On our Facebook page, we’ve just started a new album called “Rom-com, Rom-dram! RA: We don’t care, just give us some lovin’!” in reaction to a quote I read today (from The Independent), that I somehow missed in all the RA/GoT drama:
‘Fans are unlikely to catch him in a rom-com anytime soon, as the 42-year old believes he is not that “kind of actor.”
RA is very interested in comedy (excellent!): “I’d like a bit of a crack at some kind of anarchic comedy, but whether or not I’m skillful enough at it all, we’ll see,” he said. “I’ve definitely been trying; I’m chasing comedy like never before… My New Year’s resolution was to go and find something that’s funny, have more fun. We’ll see if it’s proving fruitful…maybe.”’
Believe us, RA, when we tell you that you *can* have fun as a *romantic* lead… You’ve often spoken about how much fun you had working on with “Vicar of Dibley” (rom-com) *and* “North & South” (rom-dram)???
Playing comedy doesn’t have to be exclusive: you can also play a compelling romantic leading man… believe us, you can! Lucas, Guy, Alec Track, Monet, Porter (and others)… all have had their romantic side and you played them perfectly.
We beg you, darlin’, just give it a shot! PLEASE!!!
